For my card today, I used the fantastic new Flock Star stamps. I stamped them in my Misti, using Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and Transotype Perfect Coloring Paper. Normally, I would use my Copic Multiliner to enhance my outlines, but the images were stamped perfectly from the first time.
I used these Copic combinations to color in my cute images:
- Flamingos: RV17 – RV14 – RV13 / YR14 – YR12
- Radio: BG05 – BG01 – BG000 / C3 – C1
- Flowers: G02 – G00 / BG05 – BG01 – BG01
After putting down some white gel pen details, I cut them out with the coordinating dies and the Heffy Doodle Mini Die Cutting Machine.

For my background, I die cut the imperial Mini Scalloped Rectangles out of Bristol Smooth cardstock. I masked off the edges with Heffy Doodle Masking Tape. This is super easy to do, since the rectangles give a little embossed line on the panel.
I ink blended with Distress Oxides in the colors Mermaid Lagoon, Seedless Preserves and Kitsch Flamingo (obviously). After that, I laid down the lovely Layering Hearts over my panel. With white pigment ink from Hero Arts I made sure that there were lots of hearts on the top 2/3th of my panel. When the panel was done, I removed the masking tape. Such a beautiful Oxide combination! I’m in love with those subtle hearts.
For my ’60’, I took the Birthday Numbers and die cut them 3 times out of Bristol Smooth cardstock. I blended Mermaid Lagoon on one of those. With liquid glue, I adhered all of them on top of each other for a little bit of dimension.
My used sentiment is also a part of the Flock Star stamp set. I stamped it on Oreo Crunch cardstock with Versamark ink. I sprinkled on white embossing powder and heat set it with my heat tool. I trimmed down the sentiment with the lovely Mini Paper Trimmer.

After all the prepping was done, I could adhere all of my pieces on the panel. Most of the images were adhered with foam squares, except for the radio and the numbers. The numbers already had dimension since I stacked a few layers of those.
I adhered my birthday panel on a cardbase which was made with the blue Cookie Monster cardstock.
I hope my card and all other cards from the fantastisch Heffy Doodle Design Team give you LOTS of inspiration! This release is AWESOME! In my humble opinion, it’s the best release EVER!

Love,
