Hello sweet friends! Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog!
I want to share this colorful Spring themed card with you today. I had SO much fun making this. Creating with these rainbow colors made me super happy! This is a full *Lawn Fawn* card 🙂
You can find a full supply list here.

I started by die cutting an Outside In Stitched Rectangle out of Bristol Smooth cardstock. Then I used the Corner Rainbow stencils to blend on a rainbow at the top right corner. I used regular Distress Inks in the colors: Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmelade, Squeezed Lemonade, Cracked Pistachio and Mermaid Lagoon.
I did find the rest of the background a bit too white so I went in with a blending brush and ink in Tumbled Glass. This gave my sky just a subtle light blue look.

For my grass, I first die cut the same size Outside In Stitched Rectangle out of Bristol Smooth cardstock. I then immediately die cut a grass border. This made sure that my grass also had that nice stitching detail across the whole die cut. I find it blends in with the whole card more. I gave my grass color with Distress inks in the colors Twisted Citron and Cracked Pistachio and adhered it on my background panel with liquid glue.
I altered the new Eggcelent Easter Basket a little bit, since I didn’t want an Easter themed card. With a craft knife, I just removed the Easter eggs. This way, you get a cute little basket where you can put die cuts, or other stamped images in. You can make like a fruit basket for a ‘get well soon’ card. I think this die is very versatile! I went for the How You Bean Hearts Add-on to fill the basket with lots of love.
To make the basket I used Black Licorice paper and the pink cardstock from the new Stripes ‘n Sprinkles petite paper pack. I used the black for my outline and the pink paper for the little pieces inside the basket frame. Isn’t it just adorable?

After that, I stamped all my images with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink on Transotype Perfect Coloring paper. I used images from Eggstraordinary Easter, How You Bean Heart Add-On and Eggstraordinary Easter Add-On. After coloring them in and giving them some white gel pen details, I die cut them all with the coordinating dies.
These are the Copic combinations I used:
- Reds: RV25 – RV13 – RV10
- Oranges: YR02 – YR00 – YR000
- Yellows: Y15 – Y13 – Y11
- Greens: YG13 – YG01 – YG00
- Blues: BG05 – BG01 – BG000
- Bunny: E43 – E41 – E40

For my sentiment, I used the new Offset Sayings Everyday. I stamped the outlined ‘I’m here for you’ with Jet Black ink and colored it with the same markers I used for my images. I did this in rainbow order, since it’s all about rainbows today! 😀

I die cut my rainbow sentiment with a sentiment banner and popped it on my card with foam squares. For my basket and all the images, I alterned between liquid glue and foam squares, just to give dimension to my card.
I put my whole card panel on another paper of the Stripes ‘n Sprinkles petite paper pack, which was trimmed down to 4,25 by 5,5 inches. I actually used the same color of paper as my basket. After that, I adhered the whole thing on a white card base.

I think I’m in love! I hardly make ‘rainbow’ cards, but I actually pretty like how this one turned out. I will send this to a friend who is having a bit of a hard time at the moment. I really hope this can brighten up her day a little bit.
