Hi you!

Today, I’m back with a very simple monochrome card, using a stencil from Simon Says Stamp!

I took a piece of Neenah Solar white cardstock and die cut it with the Mama Elephant – Basic Rectangles. I chose the rectangle that is slightly smaller than an A2 sized card front.

After that, I taped the SSS – Bouquet of Roses stencil to my card panel. I used blending brushes to give color to my card. The ink cubes are from Altenew, in the colors Morning Frost (for the leaves) and Moon Rock (for the flowers).

Very important: you’ll have to mask the areas where the ink can not go! I used simple Post-It Tape for that.

I cut a piece of Bazzil paper (Taffy) to fit my A2 card base and adhered my card panel onto it. For the sentiment, I took that same Taffy paper and wrote ‘with sympathy’ on it (in Dutch). Adhered it to the card with Darice foam strips.

Very simple, but yet very elegant in my opinion!

I hope I gave you some inspiration to make someone’s heart happy.

Love, Jarle x
