Hi you!
Last week, a crafty friend celebrated her birthday. She is a huge Mama Elephant fan (I can totally relate to that) so I decided to make an all ‘Mama Elephant’ card with supplies she hasn’t got (yet) 🙂

I stamped my image ‘ME – the birthday bash’ in Versafine Onyx Black ink on some Bristol smooth paper and watercolored them with my Zigs. The coloring took quite a bit of time. I used the colors:
- pale orange / bright yellow
- english lavender / lilac
- pale yellow / yellow
- haze blue / light blue
- pale green / emerald green
- bunny: oatmeal / beige
- cat light gray / gray
- dog: mid brown

After that, I ink blended my card panel using Distress Oxides in the colors ‘Spun Sugar’, ‘Picked Raspberry’ and ‘Wilted Violet’. I splattered on some water to gain a little bit of interest for my background. I placed my colored image on my panel when it was all dry.
I die cut the Mama Elephant – Hooray script die 3 times out of regular white card stock and one time out of glitter card stock. I stacked those up so the sentiment got quite a bit of dimension.
I stamped 3 other sentiments out of the Mama Elephant – Occasional Labels set and adhered them with foam tape on my card panel.
I hope I gave you some inspiration to make someone’s heart happy.Love, Jarle x
