Hi you!
For the first time, I’m participating in the Daily Marker 30 day coloring challenge. This challenge is all about finding some time every day to do a little bit of coloring. I decided it might be fun to color a bunch of stamps that I can turn into quick cards later…
For day 2 of the challenge, I colored the little elephants and mice from the new ‘Mama Elephant – Flying with Friends’ stamp set. I stamped them onto Bristol Smooth paper with Distress ink in Antique Linen. I used my Zigs to watercolor them. The coloring process took quite a bit of time… The colors I used, were:- Elephant: Light Gray / Pale Gray
- Elephant – ears: Flesh Color
- Elephant – eyes and mouth: Brick Beige
- Mice: Green Gray / Pale Gray
- Balloons: Pale Green / Green Shadow and Light Blue / Shadow Mauve
I adhered 2 elephants and 1 mouse with foam squares onto the panel. To finish off the card, I glued some Darice iridescent sequins down.
I’m very happy with the softer look of the card. Glad it turned out okay!
I hope I gave you some inspiration to make someone’s heart happy.
Love, Jarle x
