Hi there!

‘Handmade Card, Happy Heart’ was founded in 2018. I  started making cards in February/March and lost my heart to this hobby. How it all started? I’ve always loved writing little poems for family and friends’ birthdays. Somewhere along the way, I got the idea of making my own cards with a personal poem for the recipient. I adored the process of creating so much that this has been the start of a hobby I’m very passionate about.

Now, at the end of 2018, it’s time to take the next step and start a blog…

But… Next to a cardmaker: Who am I?

I’m a 36 years old girl, living in Dikkelvenne, a small village in Belgium (Europe). I work fulltime as a speech-language pathologist, audiologist and lecturer. I teach in a University college about cochlear implants, hearing rehabilitation, etc.

I hope you enjoy reading my blogposts and most of all… I hope you use it to create a handmade card to make someone’s heart, a happy heart…
