Hi friends!
I am super happy to start creating more Fall themed cards. I just love the color palette and the cozy stamp and die sets I get to use! For today, I have a little woodland scene with Lawn Fawn supplies.
I have a full supply list here: https://cloud9crafts.nl/collections/cloud9-crafts-dt-inspiration-Fall-Themed-Card-feat-Lawn-Fawn-Little-Woodland-Library

First I took a stitched rectangle from Lawn Fawn and cut it out of Bristol Smooth cardstock. I blended the whole panel with Distress Oxides in the colors Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon and Aged Mahogany. As always, I splattered on some Perfect Pearls solution and black watercolor. I set my panel aside to dry while I worked on the rest of the card.
Then I did all my die cutting. I did the Acorn House in Kraft and Ground Coffee cardstock. I also used some Sunflower for the light behind the window and the door. All the leaves were die cut with Algae, Sunflower and Apricot cardstock. I used the same Algae cardstock for my Grassy Border.

You know I like to add some interest to the die cuts. I always do that with regular distress inks. Of course, you can do it with oxide inks as well. It just depends on what you have.
On my acorn house I used Vintage Photo (sides of the house, window and door frame) and Candied Apple (door). On my leaves I wanted a bit of a gradient, so I used Candied Apple, Rustic Wilderness and Spiced Marmelade.

Then I inked up a few of the images of the Little Woodland Library stamp set with Jet Black ink on Lawn Fawn white cardstock. I used the coordinating coloring stencils to color in all those cute little images. I didn’t use that many colors: Saltwater Taffy, Fossilized Amber, Salvaged Patina, Vintage Photo and Pumice Stone. You can use any dye inks you have. I just had my regular distress inks out so I used these.
When everything was colored I die cut the images with the coordinating dies.

Time to work on the sentiment. I stamped it with Versamark ink on black cardstock and sprinkled on white embossing powder. Then I heat set it with my heat gun and took a sentiment banner to cut it out.
PS: If you don’t want any stray embossing powder, you should prep your cardstock with an antistatic powder tool. I always use the Taylored Expressions powder tool.
I glued my grassy border on the bottom of my panel and arranged all of the die cuts and images on the card. I did add that little ‘squint’ before adhering everything down.

I love the colors and those cute little images. That little mole is absolutely adorable! I hope you like this inspiration and I will be back soon with another project!
Thank you so much for being here!
Love, Jarle x
