Hi you!

I wanted to share this slimline card that I made, using a few stamps sets from Lawn Fawn:

  • Gleeful Gardens
  • Hay There
  • Trees before and afters

I stamped my images on Transotype Perfect Coloring Paper, using MFT extreme black ink. This is my go to ink when I want to color with Copic Markers. I perfected the black lines with my Copic Multiliner and colored all the images after that.

These are the Copic Combos I used:

  • RV09 – RV14 – RV13
  • YR07 – YR4 – Y17
  • Y006 – Y04 – Y00
  • G02 – G00 – G000
  • E57 – E55 – E53
  • E11 – E00 – E000
  • E34 – E33 – E31 – E30
  • N2 – N0 – C00 – 0 (white)
  • W3 – W1 – W0

I die cut all my images with my coordinating dies.

For my background, I die cut 2 slimline rectangles: one in Neenah 110lb and one out of Cilantro cardstock. With a hillside border, I cut out a few hills out of the Cilantro cardstock. Since I first die cut the slimline rectangle, the stitching detail continues troughout all the hills. This really gives it a finished result in the end!

I ink blendend my sky with Distress Oxides in Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean. I also added a bit of color to every green hill, using my Concord & 9th dye ink in the color Sprout. I mounted all my hills on my Neenah cardstock using some liquid glue.

Then I assembled the whole card. I used some rainbow scallops paper in a yellow color to place on my cardbase. After that I adhered my card front with all the images. The images were mostly adhered with liquid glue. The ones at the bottom of the card, were foam mounted using some foam squares. This gave the card a bit of extra dimension, since these critters seemed closer than the other ones.

I created the sentiment at the very end. For this I took the ‘Hay There’ out of the stamp set and heat embossed it in white onto a black card strip.

I hope you like my card and that I gave you some crafty inspiration.

Have a wonderful day!

Love, Jarle x
