Hi you!
Time to share another weekly Pretty Pink Posh card today and it’s an interactive waterfall card!

I started out by die cutting all the pieces of the interactive mechanism. I used some patterned paper and Neenah paper for that. For the sand I went with Gina K Warm Glow cardstock.
I ink blended all the Neenah panels with Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide inks. To add a bit of definition to the sand, I ink blended Antique Linen and Vintage Photo over the colored Warm Glow cardstock. I splattered on some Distress Oxides on top of all my panels. When the pieces were dry, I die cut my sand borders and adhered them to my panels.
When the little panels were done, I went ahead and stamped my images from 3 different stamp sets: Summer Friends, Summer Drinks and Summer Wreath. I used my Misti tool and a black Copic friendly ink to do that. As always, I’m using Neenah 80lb cardstock for my coloring.
These are the colors I used:
- Sun: YR15 – Y15 – Y13
- Cocktail glasses: B000 – colorless blender
- Red 1: R29 – R24 – R22
- Red 2: R20 – R02 – R30
- Coconut: E37 – E15 – E13
- Sunglasses:
- Shorts:
After die cutting, I adhered all the images to my panels. For the larger panel at the back, I first heat embossed the sentiment from the Summer Friends stamp set, before glueing the little girl down.
I then assembled the whole waterfall mechanism.

For my background I used the Layered Surfboard Stencils in a few different colors. For the first layer I used Abandoned Coral and Tumbled Glass ink. For the second layer I used Candied Apple and Peacock Feathers. I thought these colors matched the coloring of the images quite well.

I cut out my stenciled background with a basic rectangle die and adhered my waterfall mechanism with some foam squares.

I hope I gave you some crafty inspiration. Have a wonderful day.
Love, Jarle x
