Hi you!

I am back again and I wanted to share a fun Spring themed card with you.

I started out by stamping the images from the Spring Robins stamp set with a black Copic friendly ink. I colored them with a few Copics. The colors I used are:

  • For the branch: E37 / E33 / E31
  • For the leaves: YG06 / YG03 / YG00
  • For the birds: V04 / V01 / V000 (I forgot to write down the blue combo. Sorry!)

I die cut a panel and put the first stencil of the Spring Flowers stencil on top. I blended the purple flowers with Wilted Violet and Shaded Lilac. For the tulips, I went with Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar.

After that, I put down the second stencil with the stems and ink blended, using Lucky Clover and Cracked Pistachio for the greenery.

After I measured where the middle of my panel was, I die cut the largest Stitched Diamond die. I folded my cardbase and foam mounted my card panel on top.

For my sentiment, I white heat embossed the ‘Good Luck’ sentiment from the Simple Sentiments stamp set on a black strip of cardstock. I love this set. It has a ton of great sentiments for many different occasions.

Time to place down the images with some liquid glue and a few foam squares. The best part, of course, was adding some sequins to the panel. I used the Friendship Confetti for this. After I applied soms shimmer with my shimmer pen, the card was finished!

When my card was finished, I decided to make a matching envelope, I just ink blended the front with Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick and Wilted Violet.

I used the Spring Flowers stencil once again for the flap, but just used the Wilted Violet and Cracked Pistachio. I clear embossed it, so I could go over it with Tumbled Glass.

I also have a short video that guides you through my process. Go check it out if you’d like to see!

Have a nice day!

Love, Jarle x
