Hi you!
I started making my own envelopes lately. It takes lots of time, but when the occasion is right, it just gives so much extra to your handmade card.
For today, I wanted to share my Christmas envelope I’ve made. I used my WRMK envelope punch board to create my envelope. Because I was gonna do some blending and Copic coloring, I decided to take Neenah 80lb paper.

I stamped the image (Mama Elephant – So Many Snowmen) with Gina K Amalgam ink. I had to stamp it a couple of times, since the image is quite large. A stamp positioning tool was required.
The coloring took a bit of time. Normally I always go to watercoloring, but this time I decided to practice my Copic coloring skills. The markers I used, are listed below:
- Snowmen: C1 – C0 – C00
- Christmas hats: R32 – R30
- Scarf and hats: R24 – R05 / V06 – V01 / BG05 – BG13 + W4 – W6
- Bird: Y15 – Y35
- Accessories: E17 – E15 / E33 – E31
After the coloring, I ink blended Distress Oxide in Tumbled Glass and Stormy Sky. I took my white gelly roll to create snow.
I hope I gave you some inspiration to make someone’s heart happy.
Love, Jarle x
