Cozy Cat Cubbies from Art Impressions

I purchased my first stamp set of Art Impressions a few weeks ago. I very much liked the quality of the stamps. They gave a very good and clear impression.

I stamped the Art Impressions – Cozy Cat Cubbies set on some Bristol paper, since I planned on doing some watercoloring. I used my favorite Versafine Onyx Black ink.

The colors I used are listed below:

• Brick Beige, Gray, Gray Brown, Blush
• Mustard
• Violet
• Cornflour Blue
• Pale Gray
• Pale Rose

After the coloring, I die cut all the pieces with the coordinating dies and placed my cats where I wanted them.

For the background, I ink blended my Distress Oxides in the colors Shabby Shutters, Peacock Feathers and Faded Jeans. I splattered some water over the top to gain some interest.

I popped up my main image with some foam squares and mounted it on my card panel.

For my sentiment, I cut out the smallest circle of the Paper Smooches – Pinked Circles. I stamped my sentiment on top and put it on the left upper corner of my panel. Adhered everything to my card base and my card was finished.
