Hi you!

Have I told you already how much I ADORE the Magic Picture Changer by Lawn Fawn? It’s such an easy mechanism. It doesn’t take that long to make an interactive card… One of my favorites!

Since I would be watercoloring with Zigs, I took out a piece of Bristol Smooth paper. I stamped my image that would be visible first. The images come from the Lawn Fawn – Birthday Before ‘n Afters. I colored the image (no masking needed since I would be watercoloring the whole window). I die cut this piece with the die, before I stamped the second image and die cut it too.

For the coloring, I used my Zigs (again) 😉 These are all the colors I used:

  • Light Blue and Cobalt Blue
  • Pale Yellow and Yellow Green
  • Red and Deep Red
  • Mid Gray
  • English Lavender and Lilac

Kelly Marie Alvarez explains beautifully how the mechanism works in this Youtube video. Check this out when you want to make a Magic Picture Changer!

To decorate everything, I die cut the Magic Picture Change – Add on out of some LF – Spiffy Speckles paper. On top of my card base, I adhered a piece of the LF – Really Rainbow Scallops paper.

I stamped my sentiment with Versafine Onyx black ink and die cut it with LF – Sentiment Banners. For the finishing touch, I took one heart I already cut out and adhered it on to the banner. I used some Glossy Accents to give it a little bit of shine.

I hope I gave you some inspiration to make someone’s heart happy.

Love, Jarle x
