A take on ‘The wild roar

Hi you!

The last release from Mama Elephant, included the ‘The Wild Roar’ stamp set. I love those kind of stamps (just like ‘the dog’s woof, the cat’s meow and ‘the bunny’s hop’).

I stamped the image in Versafine Onyx Black ink on Bristol Smooth paper and watercolored them with my Zigs. These are the colors I used:

• Pale Yellow / Lemon Yellow
• Tea Rose / Pink Flamingo
• Green Shadow / Emerald Green
• Pale Violet / English Lavender
• Shadow Mauve / Light Blue

Since the image itself is quite colorful, I wanted a stark black background. To gain a bit of interest, I added dots with the Altenew – Felling Dotty stencil and Nuvo Moonstone Paste. 

I die cut the Hooray Script die from Mama Elephant out of some glitter paper and adhered it to the background.

I’m not sure about how the card turned out. Maybe it’s just all a bit too much 😉
