An ink blended sky for a friendship card

Hi you!

To start, I cut a card panel out of some Neenah 80lb cardstock, using the Mama Elephant – Basic Rectangles dies. I created the background with the the MFT – Cloud stencil and Distress Oxides in the colors Tumbled Glass and Broken China.

I stamped a few images of the Mama Elephant – Flying with Friends set on Bristol Smooth paper. I watercolored them with my Zigs. I chose the colors: violet, turquoise green, blush, mustard, pale gray, fog gray and light gray.

For my sentiment, I took the smallest die out of the Paper Smooches – Pinked Circles set and die cut it out of regular gray cardstock. I stamped my sentiment on top and placed it on the card panel with all the other images.

To finish off the card, I adhered some sequins in a few spots and used glossy accents to give some shine to the balloons.
