A skinny romantic card

Hi you!

Today I have a tall, skinny card for you, using the Mama Elephant – Upon a star stamp set.

I started by stamping all the images onto Bristol Smooth paper. I used Versafine Sepia ink. This is a more subtle brown; so not as stark as black. I watercolored them with my Zigs: Beige, Oatmeal, Blush, Haze Blue, Pale Yellow, Lemon Yellow.

For my background, I took the MFT – Cloud stencil and my Distress Oxides in the colors Spun Sugar and Shaded Lilac.

I adhered most of my images with foam squares, although I chose to adhere some of them flat on the panel to create more dimension.

To finish off the card, I used my Wink of Stella glitter pen to give a little shine to all the stars. I also put down some sequins from the Gorjuss collection.

This was a super simple card to make, but I absolute love how it turned out!

PS: I didn’t put down a sentiment yet. I have a few cards in my stash without sentiments, so I can choose the occasion later on.
