Hi you!
For this card, I cut down some Tim Holtz watercolor paper to a size that’s slightly larger than an A2 card base. I placed the paper in my Misti stamp positioning tool as I would probably need to stamp the images 2 times, since it’s a very structured paper.

I placed some images from the Altenew – Doodle Blooms in my Misti. I stamped everything in Versafine Onyx Black ink and covered it with clear embossing powder. When the large images were done, I took some small leaves and blooms to fill in the gaps on the card panel.
I put masking fluid over all the images. Before doing this, I coated my paintbrush with diluted soap. That way, my brush wouldn’t be ruined at the end of all the masking. I let this dry overnight.

For the next step, I painted different layers of blue watercolor for my background. I used nr 66 of the Gansai Tambi watercolor set. Again, I let this dry completely before removing the masking fluid.
I painted the flowers with the same watercolor set:
- Leaves: 51 – 52
- Purples: 139 – 38
- Reds: 32 – 35
- Oranges: 33 – 31

I stamped my sentiment on regular black cardstock and white embossed it. After adhering everything onto my card base, the card was finished!
I hope I gave you some inspiration to make someone’s heart happy.
Love, Jarle x
