My favorite stamp set of this moment has to be the Dandelion Wishes set from Mama Elephant. I already made a bunch of cards with it and I have another one for you today.
I immediately folded my – Neenah 110lb – card base with my bone folder and scoring board. To mask off the border, I used Post It Tape. I took the MFT – Cloud stencil and ink blended a sky with Distress Oxide ink in Spun Sugar.
For the panel that goes on top of this card base, I die cut a rectangle with the Basic Rectangles set. After that, I die cut my frame with the Mama Elephant – Columbus Circle die.
I stamped 3 images from the Mama Elephant – Dandelion Wishes set and watercolored them with my Zigs. The colors I used are listed below:
- Raccoon: Gray Brown and Natural Gray
- Bunny: Oatmeal and Beige
- Fox: Light Brown and Brown
- Other: Geranium Red, Lilac, Cobalt Blue, Emerald Green
I mounted my card panel with the circle frame onto the card base with some foam tape. I then adhered the images and stamped the sentiment (Mama Elephant – Occasional Labels).
Quick tip: Try to stamp the sentiment before adhering everything down with foam tape. I forgot this time…
