Hi you!

For this week’s challenge at Simon Says Stamp, you need to create a scene on your card. I decided to use one of my favorite stamp sets: ‘Mama Elephant – Dandelion Wishes’

I started by watercoloring all my images with my Zigs:

  • bunny: oatmeal and beige
  • mushrooms: geranium red, deep red, fog gray, cool gray
  • mouse: light gray
  • flowers: pale dawn gray, mid green, english lavender, tea rose

I ink blended a piece of Neenah paper, using the regular Distress inks in Twisted Citron, Tumbled Glass and Broken China.

After I die cut a piece of white cardstock with the Mama Elephant – Basic Rectangles, I die cut the frame, using the Mama Elephant – Oval Frames. I adhered my images directly on the ink blended panel and foam mounted the card frame on top.

I heat embossed my sentiment in white on black cardstock and placed it on the panel. After that, I mounted the panel on my card base and the card was finished.

I hope I gave you some inspiration to make someone’s heart happy.

Love, Jarle x
