Hi you!

The new Lawn Fawn Spring release is AWESOME! There are a lot of new cute stamp sets. I love them all but decided to make a card with the ‘LF – Oh Gnome‘ set today.

I first stamped all my images on Bristol Smooth paper, using Versafine Onyx Black ink. I watercolored them with my Zigs and my Escoda Brush.

  • Mushrooms: Deep Red, Vanilla, Cool Gray
  • Flowers: Mid Green, Olive Green, Tea Rose, Pink Flamingo, Yellow Green, English Lavender
  • Gnomes: Cobalt Blue, Mid Gray, Black, Flesh Colour, Red

After all the coloring, I die cut two panels out of the same Bristol Smooth paper, using the LF – Cross stitched rectangles. The first panel, I ink blended ‘Distress ink – Twisted Citron’ on top and die cut a grassy border. The second panel was going to be my background, so I ink blended using my distress inks in the colors ‘Tumbled Glass’ and ‘Faded Jeans’.

Before adhering everything, I stamped my sentiment in Versamark ink and sprinkled on some Lawn Fawn – Rose Gold embossing powder over it. I heat set it to give it a shiny look.

To create a little bit of dimension, I adhered some images with foam tape. Other images were glued directly onto the panel and the grassy border. It took me quite a while to get the placement right…

I hope I gave you some inspiration to make someone’s heart happy.

Love, Jarle x
