Butterfly kisses with Lawn Fawn

I wanted to share a card I made with the Lawn Fawn – Butterfly Kisses stamp set. It’s definitely my favorite stamp of this Spring release!

I stamped a bunch of images on some Bristol Smooth cardstock (using Versafine Onyx Black ink) and watercolored them with my Zigs:

• Clouds: Shadow Mauve
• Grass: Olive and Mid Green / May and Light Green
• Flowers / Butterflies: Carmine Red, Light Violet, Cobalt Blue, Bright Yellow
• Net: Green Shadow
• Bear: Mustard and Brick Beige / Flesh Colour
• Fox: Brown and Beige / Oatmeal
• Rabbit: Mid and Light Gray

The coloring took quite a bit of time…

For the background, I took a long piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and ink blended with some Distress Oxides: Cracked Pistachio, Spun Sugar an Tumbled Glass. I splattered some water on top.

I adhered all my images: some were put directly on the card panel; others were mounted with foam tape. This creates more dimension on the card.

Stamped the sentiment on a piece of regular white cardstock, cut it with my scissors and foam mounted it on the front panel.
