Coloring a little scene

For this card, I started by die cutting white cardstock, using the ‘Mama Elephant – Lafayette’ die set. I also cut out a piece of Neenah cardstock to do some blending on top.

First I masked of the ‘ground’ with some tape, than I blended the sky using Distress Oxide – Tumbled Glass and the MFT – Cloud stencil. When the sky was finished, I repositioned the tape and put down the grass with Distress Oxide – Twisted Citron.

I stamped my images from the ‘Mama Elephant – Dandelion Wishes‘ set onto some Bristol Smooth cardstock. I watercolored them with my Zigs and a R&L brush.

• Raccoon: Gray / Pale Gray
• Flowers: Mid Green and Olive Green / Light Pink and Sugar Almond Pink

After die cutting all the images, it was time to adhere everything together. I started by putting some foam tape on the ‘Lafayette frame’ and adhered it to the scene. After that, I put down all the images with foam tape.

I stamped the sentiment of the ‘Dandelion’ set on a scrap piece of paper and also foam mounted it on the card panel.
