My entry for the ‘Have a heart’ challenge

Today I wanted to share the card that I created for the SSS Wednesday challenge: ‘Have a heart’. They are showcasing MFT products this week, so that’s exactly what I’ll be using today.

I created a soft ink blended background using the Distress inks ‘Mowed Lawn’, ‘Squeezed Lemonade’, ‘Tumbled glass’, ‘Tattered Rose’ and ‘Shaded Lilac’. I used Bristol Smooth paper to make sure the colors blended smoothly.

I stamped a few images of the MFT- Bitty Bears stamp set with Versafine Onyx Black ink and watercolored them with my Zigs. The colors I used:

• for the bears: beige – brick beige – oatmeal
• for the accessories: geranium red, deep red, cornflour blue, mid green

The sentiment I used came from the MFT – All about you stamp set. I heat embossed it with Lawn Fawn – Rose Gold embossing powder. After that I adhered the little bears to the card panel with some foam squares. Then I put everything onto a card base and my card was finished.
